CapitalPulseYield Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how CapitalPulseYield ("the App", "CapitalPulseYield", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the CapitalPulseYield application and website at capitalpulseyield.com.

1. Information We Collect

Account Credentials: When connecting social media accounts, CapitalPulseYield stores OAuth tokens and API credentials necessary to publish content on behalf of the CapitalPulseYield account. These tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption.

Content Data: Scripts, video files, thumbnails, and metadata generated by CapitalPulseYield. This data is stored on our servers to operate the App.

Usage Data: CapitalPulseYield logs API requests, content generation events, and publishing activity for operational purposes and troubleshooting.

Analytics Data: Performance metrics (views, engagement) retrieved from connected platforms via their APIs for content optimization.

2. TikTok Data Usage

CapitalPulseYield integrates with the TikTok Content Posting API. Our use of TikTok data is strictly limited to:

• video.publish scope: Used solely to upload and publish educational video content to the CapitalPulseYield TikTok account (@capitalpulseyield). We send video files and metadata (captions, hashtags) to TikTok for publication.
• video.list scope: Used solely to retrieve a list of published videos from the CapitalPulseYield TikTok account to verify successful posting and track content performance.

CapitalPulseYield does not collect, access, or store any personal data from TikTok users, viewers, or other TikTok accounts. No TikTok user profile data, follower information, or engagement data from other users is accessed or stored. The TikTok integration is used exclusively to publish public content to our own account.

3. How We Use Information

• To generate and distribute financial education content across connected platforms
• To maintain and improve the App
• To provide analytics on content performance for our own account
• To secure the platform and prevent unauthorized access

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on self-hosted infrastructure. OAuth tokens and API credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. Database access is restricted to the application layer. We implement reasonable security measures to protect data, but no system is completely secure.

5. Third-Party Services

CapitalPulseYield integrates with the following third-party APIs:

• TikTok Content Posting API — For publishing short-form video content
• YouTube Data API — For video uploads and channel management
• Instagram Graph API (Meta) — For Reels publishing
• SEC EDGAR — For public financial data
• Pexels / Pixabay — For royalty-free stock imagery

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing data they receive. We only share the minimum data necessary to operate the App (e.g., uploading videos to our connected accounts).

6. Data Sharing

CapitalPulseYield does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the App (e.g., publishing content to platforms we have connected). We do not use data for advertising purposes.

7. Data Retention

Generated content and associated data are retained for the lifetime of the account unless deletion is requested. OAuth tokens are retained until the associated platform is disconnected or the account is deleted.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. You may disconnect any social media account at any time, which will revoke the associated access tokens.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
